For my birthday this year I was craving all the sweet treats. So, I dug out the KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment and churned some peanut butter ice cream. Then I decided to make some chocolate chip ice cream cups to eat the ice cream out of. Here’s how that turned out.
Although they stuck to the pan and all baked together, they were the yummiest cookies I’ve ever made.
This seems an appropriate metaphor for life, especially life lately. Life is hard and heavy and often not what I expect, but when I’m able to scrape up the stuck parts I realize they’re actually pretty yummy.
My life is delicious and I’m thankful for taste buds and a community that remind me of that.
